3rd Doctoral Workshop – Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg

We are pleased to announce the 3rd Doctoral Workshop, to be held on May 20–21, 2026, at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. The workshop is dedicated to doctoral researchers working at the interface of artificial intelligence and energy systems.

The program features poster sessions, interactive formats, and targeted training contributions. Dr. Martina Beyrau will deliver a keynote lecture on “AI in Scientific Research: Methods, Tools, and Good Scientific Practice,” and Prof. Alberto Procacci on “Application of Machine Learning to Energy Systems: Reduced Order Models.”

We are pleased to announce the 1st HyCAM International Workshop 2026: “Towards Hydrogen-Based Fuel Combustion Enabled by Additive Manufacturing”, which will take place in Sorrento, Italy, from 21–23 October 2026.

The workshop will bring together researchers working on hydrogen-based fuels thermochemical energy conversion and additive manufacturing processes to discuss recent advances and future challenges supporting the energy transition.

The scientific program will include invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions covering topics related to hydrogen technologies, sustainable fuels, advanced energy conversion systems, and additive manufacturing.

Selected contributions will be invited for submission to a special issue of Applications in Energy and Combustion Science.
